After graduating in 2002, Ray attended the University of Missouri, where he wrestled as a recruited walk-on for two seasons. Eager to return to Texas, Ray transferred to the University of Texas at Tyler where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish with a minor in Journalism.

Additionally, Ray has experience in briefing, arguing, and presenting cases before the Second Court of Appeals in Fort Worth.
